It is absolutely unacceptable for a company to say they will provide a service and then fail to deliver on that service, especially when it causes such significant inconvenience and financial loss to the customer.

Despite this confirmed reservation, Budget Car Rental did not have a vehicle available for me when I arrived. To add insult to injury, I had already paid a substantial amount of money totaling $634.98 including hotel and Uber expenses. Unfortunately, Budget Car Rental failed to uphold their end of the contract, leaving me stranded and unable to attend the concert I had been eagerly looking forward to. Renting a car from Budget Car Rental was an essential part of my trip, as I needed reliable transportation to get to the concert venue. I had flown from Atlanta, GA to Cleveland, OH, specifically for the purpose of attending a concert in Akron, OH. Each of their services plays pass the buck, and in the end I paid for terrible service and regrettably potentially dangerous vehicles. The upshot of all this is they do NOT properly maintain ANY of their vehicles. We called the next morning and they offered yet another vehicle or to just return it with no one way charge.
#BUDGET CAR RENTAL LAS VEGAS POLICY UPGRADE#
He did upgrade us to another vehicle but as we got about 30 minutes away the check engine light came on. The manager there made claims that if it was him he’d give us extra days but he couldn’t because we hadn’t rented from him. Well we drove another 80 miles, got air and made it to DIA. Through all of this they offered to have me wait 3 hrs for roadside assistance, to pay out my own money for a new tire, or drive 2-3 hours to DIA, mind you it’s 9:49 at night. I was driving and my son-in-law got on the phone, talked to roadside assistance, got told to call the reservation line, and then got told to call roadside assistance. We got on the road and in the middle of nowhere Wyoming the light came on for low tire pressure.
